Terms of Use
Effective 23 October 2026. Applies to the NavDeals iOS app (including TestFlight beta builds) and navdeals.ca.
These terms are an agreement between you and NavDeals. By signing in or using NavDeals, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use NavDeals.
Who can use NavDeals
You must be at least 13. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission.
What NavDeals is
NavDeals shows deals and stores in Toronto's PATH and walking directions to them. We don't sell anything. Stores set and honour their own deals.
- Verified deals are offered by stores through NavDeals and redeemed with a NavDeals code.
- Store offers are public promotions we found on brands' websites. A PATH location may not take part, so check with the store.
- Spotted deals are posted by other users and may be out of date. “Still on?” votes help, but aren't a promise.
Prices, stock, hours and terms can change without notice. We try to keep things accurate but can't guarantee a store will honour a deal. Questions about a purchase go to the store.
Redemption codes
Codes are personal, single-use, valid for a short time and only under the deal's terms. They have no cash value and can't be sold or transferred. We may cancel codes that are copied, resold or used to abuse a deal.
Your account
You sign in with Apple and are responsible for activity on your account, so keep your phone secure. You can delete your account anytime in Profile › Delete account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Deals you post
When you spot a deal, you confirm that:
- It's accurate to the best of your knowledge, and you took the photo or have the right to share it.
- It contains no one else's personal information, nothing illegal, hateful or misleading, and no ads for your own business.
You keep ownership of what you post. You give NavDeals a worldwide, royalty-free licence to show, store and adapt it to run and promote NavDeals. We may remove posts at any time. If you delete your account, your spots stay up without your name.
Feedback
If you send ideas or feedback, we may use them freely without paying you.
Messages
If you add a phone number or email, you agree to get deal messages from NavDeals. You can unsubscribe anytime from any message or by removing it in Profile. Standard message and data rates may apply.
Fair use
Don't scrape, copy or resell NavDeals data, reverse-engineer the app, use bots, or interfere with the service or other users.
Directions
Walking times and routes are estimates. Underground, GPS is limited. Use your own judgment, follow signs and building rules, and watch where you're going.
Ownership
NavDeals, its design and its software belong to NavDeals. Store names and logos belong to their owners and are shown only to identify the store. They don't imply a partnership.
Other services
NavDeals relies on Apple (sign-in, App Store, TestFlight) and Mapbox (maps). Their own terms apply to your use of them.
Beta builds
Beta builds are for testing. Features may change, break or be removed, and test data may be reset.
No warranty, and limits on liability
NavDeals is provided “as is”, without warranties, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the same extent, NavDeals isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for a store's refusal to honour a deal. Our total liability is limited to $100 CAD. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived, including Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the effective date, and tell you in the app if a change is significant. If you keep using NavDeals after a change, you accept the new terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of Ontario.
